TAÏRO est un auteur-interprète d’origine franco-marocaine issu de la scène Reggae. Au début des années 2000, après avoir fait ses armes dans les sound systems, il est repéré et invité par PIERPOLJAK sur la compilation « Plus de cœur = soleil ». S’en suit une proposition d'Akhenaton du groupe IAM, alors en plein casting pour la B.O du film « Taxi 2 », qui lui propose d'intégrer l'aventure au sein du collectif One Shot déjà composé de DISIZ LA PESTE, DADDY NUTTEA, FAF LARAGE, VASQUEZ et JALANE. Le Projet rencontre un véritable succès notamment grâce à des titres comme « Millénaire » ou « L'Homme n'est qu'un apprenti ». 

TAÏRO participe ensuite à de nombreux projets (compilations, featurings), dont l'album « Dis l'heure de Ragga » produit par Passi en 2004. Il y interprète, en duo avec FLYA, le morceau "Elle Veut’’ qui reste en tête des charts Français pendant plusieurs semaines. 3 ans plus tard, TAÏRO se retrouve  une nouvelle fois en tête des hits parades, mais cette fois au côté du rappeur FAF LARAGE, avec la chanson « C'est de l'or ».

En parallèle à son actualité discographique, il enchaîne aussi les concerts et notamment la tournée « Touche d'Espoir », du Groupe Assassin, qui lui permet de se produire à travers le monde.

Début 2009 il sort enfin son premier album intitulé « Choeurs et âmes », où l'artiste nous présente un CD composé de morceaux Reggae teintés de Soul. Ce premier projet solo lui vaudra d'ailleurs la victoire du prix des « Voix Urbaines 2010 » oùil était en compétition avec FEFE (Saïan Supa Crew), DRY, YOUSSOUPHA et ORELSAN.

TAÏRO travaille actuellement sur la finalisation de son 2^ème album, "Ainsi Soit-Il", très attendu après les hits internet comme "Bonne Weed".

TAÏRO is a French-Moroccan artist stemmed from the Reggae scene. In the early 2000’s, after having earned his spurs in sound systems, he is discovered and invited by PIERPOLJAK on the compilation "Plus De Coeur = Soleil". Then he received a proposition of collaboration from Akhenaton (IAM), which was at this time settling the soundtrack from the blockbuster movie “Taxi 2”. So he joined the One Shot collective, already consisted of DISIZ LA PESTE, DADDY NUTTEA, FAF LARAGE, VASQUEZ and JALANE. The Project met a real success especially due to track such as "Millennium" or "L’Homme n’est qu’un apprenti ".

Then TAÏRO took part in a lot of projects (compilations, featurings), including the album "Dis L’Heure De Ragga" produced by Passi in 2004, where he sang “Elle Veut”, with FLYA. This song stayed on the top of the French charts during several weeks. 3 years later, TAÏRO stroke again at the top of the charts, this time with the rapper FAF LARAGE, with the song “C’est De L’Or”.

Next to his recording work, he also did a lot of concerts, especially with the "Touche d’Espoire" tour, from the legendary band ASSASSIN, which allowed him to perform worldwide.

He finally released his first album in early 2009, called “Choeurs et Âmes”, where the artist presented a hided side of his work: reggae mixed up with soul. Thanks to this first solo project, he won the "Urban Voice 2010" prize, in a competition with FEFE (Saïan Supa Crew), DRY, YOUSSOUPHA and ORELSAN.

TAÏRO is nowadays finishing his 2nd album, "Ainsi Soit-Il", which everybody look foward, due to internet hits such as "Bonne Weed".
