Ras McBean is a singer coming from Guyana and who is now settle in France, since 2000. After having traveled in South America and West Indies, he arrived in Le Mans where he worked with the Irie Ites sound system. This rich collaboration created a tour in 2003 after a first show in the Jamaican Sunrise festival, and two tracks in the compilation called “Link’up”, included a featuring with Lorenzo.
The year after came out his first album, named “Pack Up And Leave”, still produced by Irie Ites. He invited for this great artists such as Anthony B, Morgan Heritage or Lorenzo. The riddims were made by Mafia & Fluxy and Addis & Di Waize from Switzerland.
He also did a track for the compilation called “Kingston Love”, amongst other names like Sizzla, Dennis Brown, Luciano or Turbulence.
In 2004 another tour is organized with Lutan Fyah and Lorenzo.
He is back this spring with the great Glen Washington for a big tour in Europe.
