E. Sy Kennenga was born in Martinique Island, and grew up in a musical family. He started to learn the guitar at 5, and have never given it up since. At 14, he already did his first own composition and joined the band called One Day, with whom he experienced the scene for the firsts times. They released their first album in 2001 “Un Jour”, followed in 2003 by “Il Faut Le Dire”. This LP gave them the opportunity to meet Joël Jaccoulet, a great martiniquan composer.

He then moved to Metropolitan France for his studies. But he carried on his musical way, with different collaborations and support shows. The public liked his personality, and he met a little success.

In March 2009, he started to perform again, making support shows with Saël, Papa Tank, Admiral T, Akiyo, and is invited by Soft or Victor O.

In august 2010, he released his first album “EK Trip”.
