Baby G is a reggae singer coming from Martinique. At the age of 18, he released his two first singles : “Africa Children”, and “Raggamuffin’”. His first album came out in 1995, by the name of “Hileaf”.

In 1998, he moved on in Metropolitan France. Here, he met the brothers Djins, which allowed him to join the Dub Action collective and the Hammerbass label. With them, he recorded a second LP in 2002, “H.I.M.”, with featuring such as Maxi Priest, Yanis Odua and Jamalski. He also appeared in several compilations like “Plus de Coeur = Soleil”, “Elephant System”,  “Assassinat”, “Genesis”, “Kaktus Records vol.1”, “Dancehall Academy”…

In 2004, Baby G sang a tribute tune to Jimmy Cliff, “Reggae Night”, which came along a video, broadcasted on TV. Another track with video-clip is recorded: “Boom Boom”. He also made a French tour.

In 2006, he took part in the “Ebene” project, with the BLB collective (Black Legend Brown). The following years, he has been working on different project such as the “Poutchi” riddim, the “Black Marianne” riddim, Irie Ites’, “Down In Jamaica”, “Collector 2007”… Thanks to all those projects, Baby G carried on touring, in France but also in Europe (Germany, Switzerland, Belgium) and Africa (Ethiopia and Mali).

He released his 3rd album in 2008, named “Libre”, which is probably his best. He is currently working on a lot of new projects, to be followed!
